Inventor CAM for Inventor and Solidworks

With Inventor CAM, available only as part of the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection (PDMC), you can simplify the machining workflow with integrated 2.5-axis to 5-axis milling, turning, and mill-turn CAM for Inventor and SOLIDWORKS.

New features launched in PDMC include:

Probing: Utilize electronic probes to accurately position and measure parts.
Engraving: Engrave shapes or text into your parts.
Chamfering: Chamfer corners while maintaining collision control with parts.
Wrapping: Perform wrapping for 4-axis parts.

Some of the core features of Inventor CAM include adaptive clearing, which reduces roughing time by a factor of 4 or more compared to traditional roughing and increases tool life.
