Revit in a BIM & Digital Workflow

Man and Machine ran a free virtual workshop on January 28th from 10am – 12:30pm, to explain how to effectively deliver digital projects using Revit and the Autodesk Construction Cloud. It has never been a more important time to drive efficiency and digital connectivity within your business. After a much tougher year than anyone could have anticipated, ensuring you are leveraging your design tools to the best of their ability, is critically important for the uncertain times ahead.

In this two hour live event, Robin Beales and Jonny Pye presented a technical deep dive into both the AEC Collection and BIM360 cloud solutions, showcasing how these technologies work together to form an integrated BIM or digital workflow. We demonstrated how to use these tools for:

  • Effective coordination for design reviews
  • Creating and managing the information model
  • Delivering and exporting COBie
  • Supporting Uniclass
  • Using Revit model checker
  • Revit to BIM360 design workflows

With the changes announced from Autodesk only last month, a lot of this technology is being made available to you through your current agreements and active subscriptions. Nathan Brownsword shows you exactly how your team can take advantage of these changes and more importantly, what the team has in store to really drive your business in to 2021.
