Revit Snaps

Revit comes with a number of snaps that can be turned off or on, these can be grouped into the following:

  • Dimension Snaps
  • Object Snaps
  • Temporary Overrides

All the snap settings can be found on the Manage tab and then by clicking the Snaps button.

You can also use the following keyboard shortcuts:

SO – All snaps on/off
SE – Endpoints
SM – Midpoints
SN – Nearest
SW – Work Plane Grid
SQ – Quadrants
SI – Intersections
SC – Centers
SP – Perpendicular
ST – Tangents
SX – Points
SR – Snap to Remote Objects
PC – Snap to Point Clouds
