Thinking about Additive – 3D Printing

3D printing is nothing new. But the real promise of additive manufacturing is not just in printing for prototyping but printing for production.

Embracing additive manufacturing processes can dramatically reduce weight and material usage whilst increasing strength and stiffness. But as with anything getting the output correct relies on good input. With the Fusion 360 additive extension users are able to pull on predictive simulation tools to ensure the build quality and warpage are anticipated and compensated for.

On Tuesday 14th December we ran a webinar where we took a deeper look at the Autodesk Fusion 360 Additive Extension.
