Why Autodesk Fusion 360 Is The Future Of Parametric Modelling

Fusion 360 has been around for many years, with its early introduction as a technology preview over 10 years ago. Since that time, it has evolved into a modern, easy to use tool for designers and engineers to conceptualise and create detailed designs of anything from a consumer based product, through to high end parts for the motorsport industry. As it stands, Fusion 360 is an integral part of the Product Design and Manufacturing collection, offering users of Inventor the ability to try new, more flexible workflows and access powerful cloud based simulation and Computer Aided Manufacturing toolsets. Fusion 360 is modular, with the ability to grow and extend its functionality as you need to on a semi regular, or more permanent basis. If you add to that the ability to import designs from a whole range of both Autodesk, and third party computer aided design applications it is clear to see that there is a use for the accessible Fusion 360 product for many users in the marketplace for a more streamlined piece of technology.

During our webinar on 14th December, we focussed on some of the core aspects of Fusion 360, as well as how you can start making use of them. Whether you are a new user to 3D design for Manufacturing, or in the need for a more sophisticated toolset for the ever-modernising world that we live in, this session had something for you.

– Modern design tools, ease of use and adoption
– Intelligent and powerful cloud based design workflows
– Time saving, productivity increasing workflows
– Ever evolving, consistently improving product mentality
